Brittany + Dee | Real Weddings | Belle Soiree Events, New Orleans Wedding Planner

Hello!

Up next on our blog...Brittany + Dee! These two have a funny story between them..but I'll get to that later! I first met Brittany and her (AWESOME) matron of honor Libby about a year our from her December nuptials. You know that feeling you get when you chat on the phone with a long lost friend for hours? This was pretty close! Brittany and Libby were so so so nice and so excited about the upcoming wedding. I've never met such a rockstar of a matron of honor like Libby! Any questions I had pertaining to budget, what was booked already, timeline plans etc...she had it all in her nifty MOH binder!
Brittany had the majority of her vendors booked besides the details so we went with our Final Details package. Brittany had an eye for chevron and baby's breath with a touch of slate gray. If you know me..I love gray! We were a "match made in heaven" as some might call it. This is SO important when hiring a planner!

Brittany and her ladies prepped at the gorgeous Roosevelt Hotel in downtown New Orleans. Now, the "story" between these two...they have "deer" nicknames for each other. Brittany is "tiny deer" and dee is "Deer." Notice the "deer" in almost every aspect of the wedding below!

See their video below...makes me cry every time!

The bride and her family along with rockstar Libby arrived by Shriners to New Orleans Museum of Art. I have never seen this done before and it was an awesome, AWESOME entrance to witness! Did I mention loud?! Check out the video below to see it in action!
The couple had their first look at their ceremony location- The New Orleans Museum of Art Sculpture Garden. I absolutely love these pictures. Stevie Ramos always does a wonderful job capturing the emotions.

How gorgeous is this bouquet from Belle Blooms? She never ceases to amaze me!

One of my favorites, for sure :)

Their ceremony took place literally under an arch of candles. The bride wanted NOTHING but candles and that is what she got! It was breathtaking!

Mixing in all candle centerpieces with high/lo flower arrangements is one of my favorite things to do while designing a floorplan. It adds so much depth and texture to the room so the guest eye doesn't go to just one spot!

Congratlations Brittany + Dee! I was so honored to plan and execute your big day! Thanks to the vendors below who made it all happen!
